Vintage Collectibles - Decals & Patches

IRON CROSS DECALS (1960S)

This is a cool find from an old garage, where these unopened Iron Cross water-transfer decals were stashed in an old magazine for 40 years or so.

Big Daddy Roth explained that there was no connection between the rebellious young surfers who put these on their cars and Nazi Germany. It was seen as an anti-establishment symbol at the time, and probably still is.

These vintage decals are in near-mint condition, never opened and still sealed in the original packaging. Please note that the blemish in the lower right corner is wear on the plastic packaging...The decal is perfect! Some yellowing has occurred as shown in scan. No tape marks, tack holes, creases, or tears. No water stains or moisture damage of any kind.

The four-decal set includes one large 5-inch decal, one 3-inch decal, and two 1-inch decals.

Packaged in an archival-quality clear plastic sleeve with an acid-free mat backing board.
