Vintage Collectibles - Magazines - Surfer Magazine - 1960's

The Blue Max, the Red Baron, and the Green Hornet battle it out for Australia's top spot in "Involvement at Bells Beach." Check out the Bob McTavish sequence at Giant Bells on pages 61-62. Truly some early big-wave surfing on prehistoric equipment. Also a neat Portugal pictorial offers some sizeable Atlantic juice. This magazine is in Betty condition, with only slight pulling at staples, minor cover dinks and tears, and a 1/4" spine split. Interior pages are bright and crisp. There are no torn or missing pages. Subscription card is intact. Packaged in an archival-quality clear plastic sleeve with an acid-free mat backing board. We have a second copy of this issue in lesser condition, about 75 percent of mint. Click Here for a closer look.
