SURFER MAGAZINE VOLUME 6, NO. 4 (1965)

Mexican Malibu, bellyboarding, and California south swell spots offer a bit of relief from the usual Hawaii coverage. A Skip Newell article on the International Skateboard Championships held in Anaheim, California is notable, with period surf stars Willie Phillips and Skip Frye dominating the event. Great wide-angle shot of Barry Kanaiupuni on a long Trestles wall makes for a killer centerspread.

This issue is in Betty-plus or near mint condition, about 85 percent of mint. Only light spine wear with no pulling at staples. No visible dinks. No torn or missing pages. Colors are bright, pages soft and supple.

Packaged in an archival-quality clear plastic sleeve with an acid-free mat backing board.

We have a second copy of this issue in Betty-minus condition, about 75 percent of mint.
