Tim DeLa Vega has done it again with his new release, 200 Years of Surfing Literature: An Annotated Bibliography.
"I came to realize that there was a serious gap in my knowledge of surfing's evolution, DeLa Vega writes, quoting Daved Marsh. "I started searching for all the written material I could find, trying to fill in the blanks."
This detailed bibliography is broken down into surfing time periods: Discovery (1779-1899), Rebirth (1900-1959), The Boom (1960-1969), and The Modern Era (1970-2004). Lots of book and periodical covers appear throughout its 102 pages. Introduction by Steve Pezman, editor of The Surfer's Journal.
