Vintage Collectibles - Magazines - Surfer Magazine - 1980's

We begin with a "California Summer" by Dave Epperson. A Buzzy Kerbox profile illustrates why he was the number one darkhorse contender for the International Pro Surfing title. Then take a nature break with "Seashores: The Surfer's Environment." Nat Young goes "Deep in Mexico," and the boys tackle the biggest Town swell in years at Ala Moana. Mark Liddel, Michael Ho, Larry Bertlemann, and Gerry Lopez dominate. Plus "Either Way -- It's L.A.: A Surfer's Perspective," a pictorial highlighting the diversity and abundance of this wave-rich, but crowded area.

This magazine is in very good or Betty condition, about 80 percent of mint. Spine is crushed slightly at top edge where it was apparently dropped. The result is wrinkling at top edge of spine. Otherwise light cover and spine wear with no pulling at staples. No torn or missing pages and no cutouts.

Packaged in an archival-quality clear plastic sleeve with an acid-free mat backing board.
