SURFER MAGAZINE VOLUME 29, NO. 3 (1988)

Surfer/artist Chris Lassen paints the cover of SURFER at Maalaea on the south shore of Maui. Read "A Pivotal Winter: Views From the North Shore" by Jim Kempton. Tom Curren wins his third consecutive SURFER Poll Awards, to nobody's surprise. Similarly, Frieda Zamba wins her third straight for the women. "The Character Issue" pictorial pokes fun at top surf stars through a political lense. Plus coverage of the OP/Fiji Pro at Cloudbreak, a "Tight Focus" pictorial, and "The Year in Review." This magazine is in very good condition, about 80 percent of mint.
