SURFER MAGAZINE VOLUME 29, NO. 12 (1988)

From soul surfing to Christian Fletcher aerials in one short month...a tragic state of affairs. Content includes a travel adventure to remote Indonesia -- at Sumbawa's Supersuck, Scar Reef, and Sunrise Bay. Also includes a California pictorial with some quality Santa Cruz. Plus "Burned," a pictorial highlighting the not-so-savory aspect of surfing in crowds: getting dropped in on by your fellow surfer. Tom Curren wins the OP Pro and Stubbies contests. A Mike Parsons profile reveals "a regular guy of the highest order. ..(Parsons) will never set the surf world on fire, but praise must be paid to a successful mix of drive and stability, talent and vision." This issue is in very good or Betty condition, about 80 percent of mint. Very light cover and spine wear. No torn or missing pages and no cutouts. Pull-out poster featuring Brad Gerlach in Japan is intact. Packaged in an archival-quality clear plastic sleeve with an acid-free mat backing board. Click Here for a closer look.
