This was the first woody book by David Fetherston, now out of print.
tells the story with 100 color photographs and more than 30 black and white contemporary and historical photographs. Included is an enormous variety of wood bodied and wood trimmed vehicles; from the first depot hacks and "station wagons" used early in this century to the 1920s and 30s Ford and Chevrolet chassis with hand built bodies, the exquisite 1940s Chrysler Town and Country, the beach woodies of the 1950s surf generation, and finally, the woody custom kits and hot rods of today. Also included is a section on maintenance and suggestions for restoration of fine wood bodied and wood trimmed vehicles.
This copy is in good condition, about 75 percent of mint. Cover dinks and bunted corners. Some dogeared pages, particularly at bottom right corner. Complete and intact with no torn or missing pages and no cutouts. No water stains or moisture damage of any kind.
