Classic big-wave drama captured by master lensman LeRoy Grannis. LeRoy also pens an editorial on competitive surfing in this issue. Joey Cabell is the big-wave winner at the Peruvian Invitational. Jock Sutherland wins the third annual Duke Invitational at Sunset, while Cabell takes the 15th annual Makaha International Surfing Championships. Also includes a Grannis pictorial titled "Surfing at Its Best" and a farewell to the Duke.

This issue is in very good condition, at least 85 percent of mint. Very light cover and spine wear with no pulling at staples and no staple rust. Complete and intact with no torn or missing pages and no cutouts. No water stains or moisture damage of any kind.

Packaged in an archival-quality clear plastic sleeve with an acid-free mat backing board.
