SURF REFLECTIONS NO. 2 (1971)

Here is Surfing Magazine's second issue of Surf Reflections, a collector's edition. This was one of the first surfing magazines to experiment with placing ads on the back pages only...great idea.

"A photo is nothing more than the capture of an instantaneous moment of action in a multitudinous series of actions," wrote Publisher Don Thomas. "Surf Reflections is a group of those captured moments." Whoa...what were those dudes smokin'?

Content includes a David (Nuuhiwa) pictorial, "In the Tube," "Off the Lip," a Trestles pictorial, and a Bernie Baker "Island Style" portfolio.

This magazine is in excellent or near-mint condition, at least 90 percent of mint. Very light cover and spine wear with no pulling at staples and no staple rust. Complete and intact with no torn or missing pages and no cutouts. No water stains or moisture damage of any kind.

Packaged in an archival-quality clear plastic sleeve with an acid-free mat backing board.
