SURFER MAGAZINE VOLUME 5, NO. 6 (1964)

Steve Bigler takes a huge drop at Sunset Beach as he prepares to set his rail on equipment that would be considered primitive by today's standards. Content includes a Fred Hemmings interview, "Explosive Sunset Beach" by Fred Van Dyke, "Up North with Cabell," and "East Coast Surf Scene." Check out Griffin and Morgan's awesome coverage of the U.S. Surfing Championships beginning on page 29! This is a fine issue with very tight spine with a tiny corner bend on upper right hand corner of cover. Appears to have been barely read! No page dinks! Very light cover and spine wear with no pulling at staples. No missing pages, cutouts or tears. This issue, with its 100 pages, is definitely a Betty! Packaged in an archival-quality clear plastic sleeve with an acid-free mat backing board. We have two other copies of this issue in Betty-minus condition, 70 to 75 percent of mint.
