SURFING BY H. ARTHUR KLEIN (1965)

This handsome and authoritative work presents instruction in every kind of surf-propelled activity. Klein offers a brief history of surfing, then ventures into wave mechanics, hazards, and safety. He gives a lot of attention to technique, along with alternative forms of surfing, including wake-surfing, bodysurfing, surf mats, and more. Contains many black-and-white photos along with diagrams by Robert D. Smith. This copy is in very good condition with tight binding and crisp, clean pages. There are no torn or missing pages and no cutouts. The dust jacket shows tell-tale signs of wear including yellowing and small tears, but is completely intact. © 1965 by H. Arthur Klein. 283 pages.
