Vintage Collectibles - Magazines - Surfer Magazine - 1970's

One of SURFER's ugliest covers, but why not? Content includes a Terry Fitzgerald interview, a kneeboarding pictorial, and an Australia travel feature. "Focus" offers some fantastic images of summertime Newport and Blacks, and an October North Shore pictorial by Steve Wilkings is titled "Early Rumblings." Also includes a New Zealand travel feature and "Full Bore Through the Back Door," with story and photos by George Greenough. Plus "Our Mother Ocean," coverage of the Smirnoff Pro, and "A Texas Roundup" by Puddy Albright (that's his name, I swear!). Finally, a Beach Haven pictorial offers some rare East Coast perfection. This magazine is in very good or Betty condition, about 80 percent of mint. Light cover and spine wear. Back cover has a few dinks along outside edge. No torn or missing pages and no cutouts. Subscription card is intact. We have a second copy of this issue in Betty-minus condition, about 75 percent of mint. Packaged in an archival-quality clear plastic sleeve with an acid-free mat backing board. Click Here for a closer look.
