SURFER MAGAZINE VOLUME 14, NO. 5 (1973)

Craig Peterson and Greg Carpenter stumble onto hollow perfection in Mainland Mexico in "Discovery on the Way Home From Central America." Reno Abellira applies his wave knowledge to Western Australia juice, while Lloyd Pettegrew finds solitude in Northern Spain. "And thus surfing once more becomes a mirror reflecting a total globe of wave-patterned oceans, and a unique chance for introspection into one's self...an image which at best can only be taught fleetingly, teasingly, in the face of the sea." This issue is in very good condition, at least 85 percent of mint. Spine is just starting to split at bottom edge. Otherwise very light cover and spine wear with no pulling at staples and no staple rust. Subscription card is intact. No torn or missing pages and no cutouts. No water stains or moisture damage of any kind. We have a second copy of this issue in slightly lesser condition, about 80 percent of mint. Packaged in an archival-quality clear plastic sleeve with an acid-free mat backing board. Click Here for a closer look.
