SURFER MAGAZINE VOLUME 21, NO. 2 (FEBRUARY 1980)

This Bud Llamas cover shows some light wear and fading, not unusual for a 24-year-old magazine.

We begin with a South Pacific travel adventure to Tahiti and Samoa. Then it's "Apocalypse Now: Surfing in the Mekong Delta -- An Interview of John Milius," by Jim Kempton and Steve Pezman, and "California New Wave," a pictorial highlighting the hot new youth, including Joey Buran, Allen Sarlo, Danny Kwock, and Jim Palmer. (Kwock nails a bomb at the Wedge!) Woody Woodworth takes us on a travel adventure to empty Baja. Plus "Surfin' USA" contest coverage, "Maynard and the Rat," and "Haleiwa: A Study in Time-Lapse History" by Fred van Dyke.

This magazine is still in very good condition or Betty condition, at least 80 percent of mint. Very light cover and spine wear. Some corner wear. No pulling at staples. No torn or missing pages and no cutouts.

Packaged in an archival-quality clear plastic sleeve with an acid-free mat backing board.
