SURFER MAGAZINE VOLUME 23, NO. 2 (1982)

"Opposite Ends of the Earth Issue" takes us to the first-ever pro contest in England, exactly 21 years after the first surfboards were built there. And the waves were pretty darned good, too. Then it's back to good old California for coverage of the U.S. Malibu Pro, the Echo Beach Challenge, and the Stubbies Pro Trials. Don't count out "Hawaii: Patterns at the Energy Center," where the world's best surfers test drive the latest surfboard designs. Then "Floridians Fly High" at The Sebastian Showdown, with Matt Kechele taking top honors. A Cheyne Horan profile and lengthy New Zealand photo feature round out a smorgasboard of quality content. This issue is in very good or Betty condition, about 80 percent of mint. Some minor soiling typical with white covers. Otherwise very light cover and spine wear with no pulling at staples. Subscription card is intact. No torn or missing pages and no cutouts. Packaged in an archival-quality clear plastic sleeve with an acid-free mat backing board. Click Here for a closer look.
