SURFER MAGAZINE VOLUME 26, NO. 7 (1985)

Dane Kealoha drives for the corner as an unfortunate victim dives for the bottom. The unusual perspective was provided by Dan Merkel Films. Content includes "California: Rock Around the Clock," a pictorial including some choice pics of San Diego, along with local surfer/shaper Ward Coffey at home in Santa Cruz. A world title preview features profiles of Glen Winton and Jodie Cooper. Plus "Skimboarding: An Answer to the Shore Break Blues." And, on the opposite end of the spectrum, "Wild Waimea: Dramatic Rescue Highlights Challenge to Ride Biggest Wave." James Jones, J.P. Patterson, Mark Foo, and Ace Cool were plucked to safety by a helicopter after the entire bay closed out! This issue is in very good or Betty condition, about 80 percent of mint. Light cover and spine wear with no pulling at staples. No torn or missing pages and no cutouts. Packaged in an archival-quality clear plastic sleeve with an acid-free mat backing board.
