INTERNATIONAL SURFING VOLUME 9, NO. 6 (1973)

Rory Russell cools off on a hot day at Kaiser's Bowl on the South Shore of Oahu. Drew Kampion pens "Surf Trip: A California Diatribe," with images from the Wedge, Newport Beach, and Oceanside. Includes a fantastic centerspread of Tracy Richmond nicely slotted in a lime green Burleigh Heads barrel. A Mexico travel adventure by Eric Penny takes us to "Mezcals." Then a young Wayne "Rabbit" Bartholomew steals the show (as usual) in a Gold Coast photo feature with words and photos by Steve Core. Also includes coverage of the Durban 500 in South Africa and a Warren Bolster interview with the "Mysto Man," Steve Lis on his miraculous fish. This issue is in excellent or Cherry-minus condition, about 90 percent of mint. Absolutely no pulling at staples and no staple rust. Very light cover and spine wear. No torn or missing pages and no cutouts. Remarkable condition for a 32-year-old magazine! We have a second copy of this issue in slightly lesser or Betty condition, about 80 percent of mint.
