SURFING VOLUME 11, NO. 2 (1975)

The Rubberman gets up close and personal with photographer Dan Merkel at Rocky Point. Content includes "Top Travel Tips" with Paul Heussenstamm. Reno wins the Smirnoff Pro at huge Waimea, While Floridian Jeff Crawford wins the Pipe Masters and Larry Bertleman wins the Duke at windy Sunset. Also includes "The Girls Who Surf: A Synthesis" by Richard Casperson and "Who Controls the Beaches," Part 4, where Bob Hansen explores coastal access issues in New York. Finally, "Cracking the Coast: A Guide to Surfing in California" by Matt Moody is anything but exploitive as he does everything in his power to avoid disclosing names and locations of surf spots. This issue is in very good or Betty-plus condition, about 85 percent of mint. Very light cover and spine wear with no pulling at staples. Cover is bright and supple, nearly unread. Bonus color poster has been removed. No torn or missing pages and no cutouts. Packaged in an archival-quality clear plastic sleeve with an acid-free mat backing board. Click Here for a closer look.
