Another rare find at SugarShackSurfShop.com! This one's an official program from the 1966 World Surfing Championships in San Diego, with young Australian Nat Young taking top honors.
It includes final results from the contest, along with great period ads from the 1960s. It has a magazine-like format, with surfing photos interspersed with stories and ads.
This one's a Betty-minus, or about 75 percent of mint. Spine is just starting to split at top and bottom edge. No pulling at staples. Lower right corner is dogeared slightly. Small tear at top center of front cover. Elsewhere, a minor water stain affects the first few pages. But it is completely intact, with no torn or missing pages and no cutouts. 50 pages.
Packaged in an archival-quality clear plastic sleeve with an acid-free mat backing board.
